CodeHS is launching Code Oregon, an initiative to expand high-quality computer science in school districts across the state of Oregon. Coding is a foundational skill, just like reading and writing. All students should be able to take computer science courses at their local schools, regardless of their area code. CodeHS is providing full implementation, professional development, curriculum, and Pro accounts to 10 Oregon school districts for free for the next year.

10 Oregon school districts will get a full CodeHS computer science implementation for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years including:

  • Free 6-12th grade computer science curriculum pathway

  • Free professional development training for teachers

  • Free CodeHS Pro accounts for the district

  • District computer science implementation support

  • Community of other computer science teachers

All applications are due by Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
